RTR — Ready to Run
The vehicle is assembled and designed to run with the included or specified equipment. Always check whether batteries and a charger are included.
Brushed motor
A common, affordable motor type that is easy to understand and suitable for many beginner models.
Brushless motor
A more efficient motor system that usually offers higher performance and lower motor wear.
Proportional steering
The wheels turn gradually based on how far you move the controller, rather than only full left or full right.
4WD
Power is sent to all four wheels, which can improve traction on loose or uneven surfaces.
Crawler
An RC designed for controlled driving over rocks, trails and obstacles rather than maximum speed.
Drift RC
An RC configured to slide through corners on a suitable smooth surface.
Scale
The size of a model compared with the full-size vehicle. A 1:18 model is larger than a 1:64 model.
LiPo battery
A lightweight rechargeable battery that needs a compatible charger and careful charging and storage.
